I play the pipes.

 

When did you join Lanark & District Pipe Band and have you played anywhere else before?

I joined in 2005 and then played with North Lanarkshire schools for one season in 2007, before coming back to Lanark in 2008.

What's your occupation?

I'm still at Lanark Grammar School.

 

At what age did you start playing?

6

 

What made you join a pipe band?

I just wanted to learn the pipes.

 

Do you play any other instruments?

Yes, the drum kit.

 

What are the best moments of your playing career?

Winning the Europeans with North Lanarkshire Schools in 2007.

 

And the worst moments?

Not competing this season (2009).

 

What are your favourite tunes? 

I have a few – too many to list one single tune.

 

Other than pipe bands, what type of music do you like to listen to?

Black Eyed Peas are my favourite.

 

What are your current and future goals in the pipe band world?

To keep improving and get to play in a higher grade.
